Fill up your flasks and bust out your tassels: this September The Vampire Lesbians of Sodom are coming to Philadelphia! Whether luring in their latest victims or snatching some time in the spotlight, these sexy beasts take no prisoners in a bawdy send-up of burlesque by Charles Busch. In the tradition of Debbie Does Dallas: The Musical, The Rivals: A Drag Comedy and Oedipus Kings: The Drinking Game, To the Wall Productions delivers a naughty treat for anybody who just can't help being bad.

Starting in the sinful days of ancient Sodom and Gomorrah this saucy farce tells the tragic story of the Sodom Succubus and the virgin sacrifice who vows revenge. Thriving on the blood of female virgins for centuries afterwards, they acquire a few enemies and incite more than a few cat fights along the way. Flash forward to Hollywood in the Roaring 20s where the two have transformed into La Condesa (formally the Succubus) the silent screen star and Madeleine Astarte (the virgin) the grand dame of the stage. Dodging gossip columnists, vampire hunters, and jealous matinee idols, the two wind up in present day Las Vegas. Will their ultimate showdown end in tears or triumph? Join To The Wall this September and see why it's love at first bite!

“There’s been this revival of burlesque popping up in recent years and many people only think of girl groups like the Pussy Cat Dolls or the dancers at 40 Deuce in LA,” said director Dawn K. Cowle. “But really it’s so much more than that. I thought it would be exciting to take this campy show that was meant to embrace the art of burlesque sketch and combine the classic with the contemporary- to breathe new life into this Off-Broadway hit, and give it a sexy, dirty, Rock and Roll feel.”
